HANNOVER, Germany (CelebrityAccess) — German rock legends The Scorpions have announced the first handful of dates for their upcoming 50th anniversary world tour.
The tour kicks off on May 8th in the Czech Republic and will carry the band through November, when the European leg winds up at The Festhalle in Frankfurt, Germany.
The initial round of dates is limited to Europe, but it is expected that the group will announce dates for North America as well. The band Europe will be supporting the Scorpions on selected dates.
Drummer James Kottak just returned to the band as well, after seeking treatment for alcohol addiction, following an alcohol-related arrest in Dubai in April of this year.
